Origin
Tea was discovered by accident over 5000 years in CHINA when leaves from a tea bush accidentally dropped into some boiling water and delicately flavored the drink. Tea was originally drunk for its medicinal benefits and it was not until the 1700’s that it began to be consumed as the delicious beverage that we know today.
The main tea producing countries are:
- India: It is the largest producer
- China
- Sri Lanka
- East Africa (Kenya, Zimbabwe, Tanzania)
- Indonesia
Types of Tea
White Tea - White tea may refer to one of several styles of tea which generally feature young or minimally processed leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant.
Green Tea - Green tea is also harvested at the early stage, and minimal or no oxidation process is used.
Oolong Tea - Oolong is a traditional semi-oxidized Chinese tea produced through a process that includes withering the leaves under strong sun and allowing some oxidation to occur before curling and twisting.
White Tea - One of several styles of tea which generally feature young or minimally processed leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant.
Black Tea - Black tea is a type of tea that is more oxidized than oolong, yellow, white, and green teas. Black tea is generally stronger in flavor than other teas.
Non Caffeinated Tea - Chamomile Tea , Blue tea , Peppermint Tea, Hibiscus Tea, etc.
ICE Tea - Cold Beverage Usually drink in Summer.

Tea Decoction
Sugar Syrup
Lemon
Make Tea Decoction, Cool it down, Add sugar Syrup, add fresh lemon Juice, serve in a high ball glass with ice.
TIP- you can add flavors like peach, watermelon, mint in your ice tea, and can add alcohol as well.
