For this sweet-sour drink was chosen the Japanese name of kamikaze which means "divine wind".
kamikaze cocktail was first created during World War II in a bar of an American naval base that occupied Japan. when it became popular during the golden years of vodka. It was first served as a shot and then bartenders turned it into a Martini-like cocktail.
The term "kamikaze" refers to Japanese pilots who flew suicide missions during World War II. The pilots flew their planes into enemy ships, often loading their aircraft with explosives. The term can also refer to the aircraft used in these attacks.
Recipe
Vodka - 30ml
Fresh Lime Juice - 30ml
Triple Sec - 30ml
Add everything in a shaker, shake and pored in a short, martini, old fashioned glass, and garnish with a lemon wedge.
Note- Add any flavor to make flavored Kamikaze cocktail.
