A classic quaff of cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon juice that straddles the line between sour and sweet. Cocktail historians agree that the first Sidecar was first poured in the years following World War I in Paris. The name is driven from this establishment in a motorcycle sidecar.
Recipe
Cognac - 40ml
Cointreau - 20ml
Fresh Lemon Juice - 30ml
Sugar Syrup - 10ml
shake the cocktail and fine strain in a sugar coated martini glass.
Tip - can replace Cognac with other brandy, but it won't be a classic.
